- [Instructor] Finale contains many of the most commonly used expressions, but at some point, you'll likely need to create an expression that isn't included. So I've got the create expression start file open if you want to follow along. And let's select our Expression tool. And I need to add a tempo mark here because I forgot to do that when I created the score. So I'm going to double click here at that measure. And when the expression selection dialogue opens, it may open to this show all, which is all of the expressions from the categories that we see below the Show All option. Now, if you're going to create one or you're going to edit or modify one, you want to start in a category, because when you do that, you're going to pick up the formatting that is used for that particular category.
