- [Instructor] The first set of triggers that we're going to take a look at here are the object-based triggers. These are triggers that deal with layout objects, most specifically fields. For example, if you go into Layout Mode, and let's say we have this field object here like notes, I'm going to to right click on it and choose Set Script Triggers. And up on screen pops a window that shows all the different object-based script triggers available to us. So here's a quick review of each of the object's scripts triggers. First we have OnObjectEnter, this triggers a script to run when an object becomes active. Several actions can activate an object such as tabbing to or clicking into an object. The OnObject event can also be triggered by a script that enters a field. OnObjectKeystroke triggers a script when an object is active and a keystroke is received.
