- [Instructor] The goal of this video is to learn to create your first FARO SCENE project in a specified Windows directory, view what each of the directory folders contain, and understand those directory folder's interdependence upon one another. So we can start here in the ribbon interface by creating a project. All we have to do is go to the top left, and hit this button here. And then what happens is this window fly out menu shows up, and we can specify where we want to create that project. So I have little space designated here, and we'll go ahead and put it in this folder. And then we can name this, maybe just Ribbon. And say Create. And once we do that, the interface changes, and you'll also see all of these menus up here are now activated. And we can start doing some work. But let's also look at how we can do that in the classic interface. So I'm going to close FARO SCENE, and I'm going to reopen it and go to the classic interface.
