- When you're faced with a tedious task, it helps to know your progress. How close are you to being done? Here, we've got all these high schools and we're trying to get this data filled in. We've got to get the mascots and find out if they have gymnastics, swimming and our fencing teams. This is what we got to do. Convert this data into a table and then create a summary in those highlighted cells, the total number of schools, the number of mascots we have, how many are left and the total sports. We don't care about splitting them apart. In this situation, if I were to highlight here and then look down in the lower right, we can see we have a seven.
