Now this is based on something real that somebody asked me to build. A bunch of friends were going to get together, and rent a beach house for a month, and they were trying to figure out how to calculate how much each person should pay. We see that the condo is $7,680 and the truck is $1,785. The total stay is going to be 31 days. Now the agreement is that everybody who is coming will divide the truck cost evenly. For the condo, each person's payment will be based on the number of days that they stay there. And if two people are in the condo one day, they will split that day rate by two.
