I knew scales, I knew how to play the bass lines to certain popular songs, I was in a vacuum, no reality, no context around me. So these challenges are designed to give you context, to give you some reality. I would be an irresponsible wretch if I just showed you a bunch of scales and sent you out in the world. So here are a few challenges that will help get you functioning in the real world.
