- [Instructor] This course is all about how to use Excel effectively. But the reality is there's a sea change coming in the way that we do work in Excel and a variety of other computer applications. And that change is really all around artificial intelligence, and in particular, the new tools around generative artificial intelligence. One of those tools is Copilot for Microsoft. So let's just talk about Copilot briefly, and then we'll talk about how it's applied in Excel. So Copilot is sold by Microsoft and it's used in a variety of different applications. But for our purposes, we're probably most interested in how it can be used in Excel. Now, essentially, what Copilot can do is it goes through and it evaluates your data and then it can do fairly simplistic tasks, right? Things like, as an example, doing a moving average or cleaning up some data, maybe taking out missing blanks, things like that. Flagging stuff that is repetitive or obviously incorrect.
