- [Instructor] Now, to create interactivity on our dashboards, we want to use a pivot table technology called slicers, and then there's an associate one called a timeline. They're actually very similar, and I'm going to show those to you. Now, what I want to do here is I'm going to click anywhere in this pivot table here, and I'm going to go to pivot table analyze, and then over here, there's a button that says insert slicer. So I'll click insert slicer here. Now, note we are visualizing region. So typically, you would not want to add a slicer for something you're already visualizing.
