- [Instructor] Okay. So you've worked really hard to build a solid business budget model. Now let's bring some life to the data with some reports. If you'd like to follow along with me, then have my business budget prep reports open and make sure you're on the dashboard worksheet. Firstly, let's create a summary of the business' monthly operating result. That is, revenue less expenses. Fortunately, we have already prepared this information in our budget model. Let's go to cell B7, type in equals, go to the revenue plan worksheet, and then select cell C28 and hit enter on the keyboard. Now let's do the same for our expenses. In cell C8, type equals, navigate to expense plan, select cell C18 and hit enter on the keyboard. Now what you will notice is that the formula in cell C9 has added the two cells together, and we can tell this by clicking F2 on the keyboard. We don't actually want that to be the case. Hit escape.
