- (Voiceover) In this worksheet called Input Message we wanna use a data validation requirement that says these salaries must be, as we can see to the right here, between 40,000 and 130,000. Nothing outside that range is going to be allowed. And to make this even more foolproof, we want to provide an input message, a pop-up box every time we click in any of these cells, that reminds us what the rule is. Let's select column B and go to Data Validation. First of all, let's set the requirement here under settings. Allow, not just any value, but how bout a whole number. Let's say in the environment here all the salaries, the yearly salaries are whole numbers. We don't necessarily need to use this, but let's say we will in this case. And between, in this case 40,000, and the upper limit 130,000. Now, on the Input Message tab, we can provide a message.
