The compassion method
- Compassion is the pillar for effective communication and key component in fostering your emotional intelligence. Compassion arises from loving acceptance, non-judgment, openness to impermanence, and oneness. It is empathetic conscious effort to relieve suffering. I designed the Compassion Method to help develop nurturing, long-lasting relationships. The method focuses on self-compassion, compassion for others, and compassion for the whole universe, as well as empathetic care and concern for all beings living and non-living. Let's dive in. The first step in the compassion process is to bring compassion to yourself as you open to difficult situations. Hold the open space for sadness, anger, or guilt, and bring in compassion.
