- [Instructor] The beautiful thing about online learning is you have a tremendous reach and you are getting your instruction in front of people that may not have access to this teaching otherwise. However, because of this reach, you might be working with populations you haven't before. With this expansion, you need to take others and the way they are learning into consideration. First, think about how people access your content. Accessibility breaks down into two categories. The first is how you teach the instruction. Broaden your impact, integrating multi-paced learning to support various instructional styles and to avoid cognitive overload. Here are some ways to do so. Provide information about existing features. So if your video player has closed captioning or a pause button, or if there's a note-taking tool, make sure your learner knows about them.
