- [Instructor] There are three building blocks used to create a table of contents: the overview, sections, and lessons. You choose the combination that works best for whatever situation you are creating. The optional Overview content area is often used to describe what's being shared in the table of contents; what the members are going to experience. It's a good way to welcome new members to the space and to provide group guidelines for interacting. Lessons are where the action happens. They're what you use to share information and to create those member experiences. Lessons can either be standalone or they can be organized together into a section. The text in a section header itself provides a brief overview of what the member can find in the contained lessons.
