- [Instructor] Dictionaries are at the heart of sentiment analysis. Dictionaries provide quantifiable values for the emotional content of different words. These dictionaries are provided by different groups and are the results of different methodologies. It's important to understand which dictionary you are using when you do sentiment analysis, and to make sure to use the dictionary that's most appropriate for the research that you're conducting. So let's take a minute and become familiar with some of the different dictionaries that are available for sentiment analysis.
