- Do you know what my most despised sentence in the English language is? It's, "We've always done it that way." Every time I hear that as a reason for defending the status quo, all I can think of is the video rental store Blockbuster. While Netflix came out with a new model of mailing and ultimately streaming movies to your home, Blockbuster dug its heels in and kept its brick and mortar store model.
