- Craftsmanship, quality, and community spirit. Out of that, Topa Topa was born. I really wanted to start something that we could create a community environment around and beer, it's the greatest beverage in the world so it's a great way to get people together. - After home brewing for a number of years, Jack and I started the home brewing co-op where we got 12 guys together and bought a pretty large home brewing system and pretty quickly realized after we were doing the co-op that we just loved doing and wanted to take it to the next step. - We all did a stint in San Diego and we were blown away by that beer scene and really wanted to bring that level of quality and commitment to the product up here to the Ventura County area. - Ventura's kind of a unique place where there's the water and the mountains and pretty much everything within 30 minutes of here.
