- [Speaker] Have you ever been in a situation where you were working with a workbook that someone else created and everything is in lowercase and you need it to be all uppercase? Well, if so, then you're going to love the upper function. In this video we'll look at upper, lower, and length. The length function will tell you how many characters are in a cell. Let's jump right into our workbook. We're working with the 05_08 Upper_Lower workbook. We want to change the company names to all uppercase. These company names are in column B. I'll click in C2 and type equals upper, tab to step into this function, click on B2, and enter. How easy was that? Now let's just copy this formula all the way down using our auto fill handle.
