- [Presenter] In our daily lives, we are surrounded by risk. Some risks are so integral to our activities that we are not even aware they exist. For example, there are health risks tied to infectious disease. There's the risk of getting into an accident in a vehicle. There's a risk of slipping and falling in the home. And the list goes on. For the risk we are aware of, we may attempt to modify our behavior to avoid them, like not sitting next to someone who is continuously coughing or sneezing, getting the latest influenza vaccine, and making sure we have our health insurance in good order. In some cases, we accept the risk as is without modifying our environment or behavior. In this video, we will focus on applying risk management to AI. ISO 31000 defines risk as the effect of uncertainty on objectives and can be measured through likelihood and corresponding impact if the undesired outcome is realized.
