I like things to go fast, I'm impatient by nature, and for the most part of the developers I know are similar. And so I'm going to help you right now and save you some time. I'm going to help you not have to be as patient as I had to be when I tracked down a really annoying problem in the Lambda as we have written. And here's what's going on. If you go up to the top, you see this initial line that was provided for us. And what it's doing is defining my lambda function as asynchronous. That's what that async means. What that means practically is this function will run and anything that it kicks off, for instance, sending an email in our ses.sendemail function will be queued up and the lambda function itself will go ahead and return this…
