To get started installing Ubuntu Server, I'll plug my installation disc into the server when the server is powered off then I'll power my system on. And during the boot process, I'll go into the boot selector. That's done by pressing F10 on this computer. And you may need to do some research or experimentation to see how to go into the boot selector on your hardware. Here at the boot selection screen, I have a few options including network boot and the opportunity to boot from either of the two disks I have installed in this computer. I also have the option to boot from my USB drive in two ways. This one will start the installation in BIOS mode and this one will start at in UFI mode.
