- [Instructor] Throughout the course so far, we've been using SSH to connect to the server and work with it remotely. SSH, Secure Shell, is a pretty fundamental service and in many cases we don't even think that much about it. While SSH client software, which we use to connect to an SSH server, is available for and built into all major desktop operating systems. There are also SSH clients available for mobile platforms. Not all systems with SSH client software can act as an SSH server though. During the installation of this server, we enable the open SSH server software. So we'd have a way to connect to the brand new server right away. We can also install that package on other systems and on the next machines, the packages usually called OpenSSH Dash Server.
