- [Instructor] In this course, we will create a website for a book author that will run on Statamic. This website will have a Home page, an About page, a Books listing page, a page for individual book, and a Contact page. We will create various collections and their blueprints. The data will be dynamically rendered from the Statamic control panel. We will also create a contact form and set it up so that we can see the form submissions in the control panel. We will make an extensive use of all the goodness that Statamic offers, collections, fields, globals, variables, partials, and much more. We will also customize the dashboard in the control panel by removing the default content and replacing it with other widgets that come with the default Statamic installation as well as a widget created by a Statamic community member. We will also learn about addons, what they are and how we can install one. Finally, we will generate the static version of our website and deploy it for free on Netlify. This course is a comprehensive overview about what it takes to create a website powered by Statamic from scratch, without using an existing Starter Kit. I hope to see you in the next lesson.
