Are you looking to make a positive social impact with your career? In this course, Nick Martin shows you how to do just that. He first guides you through a reflection on the positive social impact you would like to make on the world through your work, either through a social impact career, or by making more of a positive social impact with your current role. Nick then shows how you can transition into specific social impact roles by evaluating your values, experiences, and transferable skills, engaging your network and LinkedIn, and considering your boundaries and needs to thrive in your career. He takes you through different sectors—including NGOs, government organizations, and private companies—where you can make a positive social impact, and shares specific tips and strategies for moving into these sectors.
