- [Presenter] Another way to break out of boring repetition, vary the shapes. These design thumbnails show just a few simple ideas. Showing a series of circles? Change one to a square. Have too many hard edge vertical and horizontal elements? Try breaking them up with a bold angle or a curve. This sample slide includes a five-step path along a straight line, but changing that line to a simple curve adds some interest and also echoes the circles in our brand and on other slides in the presentation. Here's a good start for a slide. That hero image is big and bold, but those rectangles don't really add anything. They're kind of stuck on the slide. Changing them up to some filled circles and adding more for graphic interest is a nice way to tie these two features to that ski jacket. This slide includes a picture of a person hiking along with a large teal square behind the heading, three metrics, and text. It's not horrible, but let's vary the shape. Now that's bolder.
