- [Instructor] This slide includes a large picture showing off the solar panels of an office building along with a large percentage in supporting text. It's okay, better than a bulleted text slide on a white background, but what if we added some variety using shapes like this? Now we're talking. The picture is cropped with a curved edge and the text is popping off in a white circle on top of the picture. Let's build this slide together. Follow along in PowerPoint. Open up the Visual Variety exercises PowerPoint file, and go to slide six. The background is filled with a light yellowish green, and the three color graphic strip is on the right hand side. Now let's insert the picture. From the Insert tab of the ribbon, choose Pictures. Insert picture from this device. Find your assets folder and double click on the office building to insert it on the slide. Select the picture and move it to align with the left side of the slide.
