- What do you do when you're faced with multiple categorical variables that you want to analyze? In this lesson, I'm going to show you graphing options if you want to avoid the very linear visualization that comes with bar graphs. You can use pie charts and radar plots that offer a circular visualization of such data. Circular visualizations are often easier on the eye and can be more intuitive to many readers. Note, communicating precise statistics is not as clear as compared to bar graphs, which is a disadvantage of using circular visualization methods.
