- [Demonstrator] When I introduced Kinesis family of products, Kinesis Firehose was introduced as a service that allows you to load streams of data into S3, Redshift and other services. In this video, let's look at Kinesis Firehose in more detail. Kinesis Data Firehose is a real near-time streaming ETL extract, transform and load service for any data at any scale and at load cost. Firehose allows you to ingest into the stream data of tens of thousands of data sources into a single stream. Records are read in the order that they are produced, enabling near real-time analytics. And finally, the records can be sent to a data warehouse, data store, or data lake. In the extract phase, Firehose allows you to ingest data from over 20 different sources like Kinesis data streams, Kinesis agents, AWS SDK, and many others.
