- [Instructor] Now that you know what Kinesis Firehose is, let's create a new Firehose with AWS. So, in this part, we are focusing on this part of the architecture that you see here. So we are having the client app sending records to the source, Kinesis data stream. Then we have a pipe that will filter the events that have the analytics type and send them to another Kinesis data stream that is our destination. The destination data stream will be connected to a Firehose that will store the events in a stream. In order to get started, the first thing we need to create is the S3 buckets where we are going to store all these events that are being sent to the Firehose. So we can create a new S3 bucket like this. Call it the analytics destination bucket of the type S3. And then we put a name to it, the stack name analytics destination.
