- [Instructor] Sometimes we need to display component data in different places. For example, if we're working on a congested P&ID, we may not have the room to display all the required information in the body of the drawing near the component. For this reason, we have the ability to place additional annotations that are still linked to a single component. Let me show you how you do this and why we may do this. Let's go ahead and open drawing 1002 and I'm going to place some information here. I'm going to take an equipment tank, I'm going to place this in the drawing, and I'm just going to assign this the first available number, and I'm going to throw an annotation on here as just an equipment tag.
