- [Instructor] Slide numbers are a great way to let your learners visually track their progress through your eLearning course. To add a slide number, start by clicking the insert tab on the ribbon, and select the slide number dropdown menu. From here, we can add the current slide number from the menu, the total number of slides, the number of slides the learner has viewed, and more. In this case, we'll select this option to add the current slide number from the menu and click to add it to our slide. Now that we've added the current slide number, we can return to the slide number dropdown and click to add the total number of slides. And now with our slide numbers added, we can add some additional text between the slide numbers to give them context. And of course, we can format it to match the look and feel of our course. And that's how easy it is to add slide numbers to your slides.
