- Agile teams use reports to track their progress and identify bottlenecks. Let's look at three popular reports used by Agile teams, burndown charts, burnup charts, and cumulative flow diagrams. There are many popular tools used to produce these reports. I have chosen specific tools to demonstrate our sample products progress, but there are other options. Some Agile teams even prefer to create reports manually. Visual Studio Team Services is a cloud-hosted application lifecycle management product by Microsoft. The burndown chart for Sprint 2 of our Agile Fitness center Mobile and Web Development team looks like this. The Y axis shows the total amount of remaining work and the X axis shows the timeline. Remaining work can be expressed as the number of story points remaining, or, like in this case, another unit of measurement like ours.
