Git is the software developed by Linus Torvalds, who was the first developer for the Linux Kernel. He created Git to track changes when developers are working on large projects. So what we're going to do is we're going to spin up our own Linux server based on CentOS, and install a Git repository on the server that you can run in your own environment. So let's get started.
