That's because the real strength with GitLab is in the software repository. So the best way to create a task list for your user stories is by using text attached to an issue. So we just click on return list on smartphone here. You'll see at the very bottom there's a text field. So if we scroll down here, you'll see that you can write a comment or drag files here. This little text area allows you to create text formatted with markdown. Markdown is a simple way to format text using regular characters.
