Create segments
- [Instructor] One of the most powerful features of segments is the ability to customize it by an incredible amount of detail. To show you what I mean, I'm going to select Add Segment from the top of a report and then I'll choose New Segment in the upper left hand corner. It's here that we have the ability to layer in all sorts of insights. For starters, we can include demographic information, technology, behaviors, we can even look at the data the first session, traffic sources, eCommerce parameters, and advanced conditions and sequences. For starters, we can bring in, say, just females. And if you look along the right hand side, you're going to get an immediate summary to show you what this segment is finding. And this is helpful as you create these segments. You may include a parameter for example, language, and let's say it's looking for EN-US, but you type English.
