The Workday Consultant is essential in leveraging best-in-class technologies to drive HR’s strategic initiatives. Collaborating with teams across the organization, the Workday Consultant will tackle everything from system configurations to process improvements, ensuring smooth operations for all users. This includes system design, configuration, and operational or functional issues. This position offers the perfect blend of technical problem-solving and cross-functional partnership, working with stakeholders to turn complex requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Workday subject matter expert across all modules (HCM, Payroll, Recruitment, etc.), managing system configuration, troubleshooting, and data quality while providing technical guidance to cross-functional team.
- Oversee daily system operations, applying project management, business analysis, and functional expertise to ensure efficiency and process improvement.
- Lead system security and compliance efforts, managing domain and business process policies, ensuring data integrity, and supporting audits and privacy requirements.
- Oversee integration management, including building and maintaining EIB's and Cloud Connect integrations, while serving as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders to implement system changes and improvements.
- Manage Workday release cycles, including feature assessment, testing coordination, documentation updates, and communication development, while keeping current with new functionality and technology trends.
- Drive system optimization and enhancement initiatives by collaborating with HR leadership to identify automation opportunities, improve user experience, and develop strategic roadmaps that align Workday capabilities with business objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience required.
- 5+ years of directly related work experience required.
- A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience with in-depth understanding of HR domains and workflows required.
- A minimum of two years HRIS analyst or consultant required.
- A minimum of 2 years hands-on Workday experience required.
- Proven ability to manage complex implementations, multi-task effectively, and drive projects from requirements through deployment while working both independently and cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated ability to present technical information clearly to all audience levels, adapt to change, take ownership of challenges, and think innovatively to develop solutions.
