Water and Wastewater Senior CAD Designer

Location: Charlotte and Morrisville, NC

Our company is seeking a Water and Wastewater Senior CAD Designer to join our team! This senior-level position offers the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, providing valuable experience and interaction with staff, methods, and organizational practices. Candidates with highway or roadway designer experience are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare or assist in the preparation of water and wastewater or general civil engineering documents, details, schedules, or reports as assigned.
• Apply proven knowledge and proficiency in water and wastewater pipelines and DOT wet utility relocation plans.
• Maintain proficiency in drafting standards and CADD software.
• Organize and manage drawing files and project information, aiding in the production of drawings, graphs, charts, exhibits, and other project documents.
• Build knowledge of available resources (reference materials, government agencies, utility companies, in-house records, etc.).
• Develop proficiency in CADD equipment and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school preferred.
• Familiarity with CADD programs such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D AutoCAD, and third-party software packages.
• 15+ years of relevant experience preferred; 10 years required.
• Experience in highway or roadway design is welcomed and considered an asset.

Compensation Range:

$80,000 - $120,000
