Summary

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for ensuring the accurate packing, loading, and safe delivery of materials to job sites. This role requires a valid CDL and a clean MVR to ensure compliance with driving standards.

Essential Functions

  • Verify that all required materials, items, and equipment are properly packed and loaded onto the delivery vehicle.
  • Safely operate a forklift to load materials onto the vehicle, ensuring no damage occurs during loading, transport, or unloading.
  • Deliver materials, equipment, and products to assigned job sites.
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections before each use, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Maintain cleanliness of both the exterior and interior of company vehicles.
  • Return unused materials from job sites to vendors for credit and provide the original invoice from the AP Technician to the vendor.
  • Complete all required documentation, including vehicle inspections and delivery confirmations, with accurate signatures.
  • Follow all safety protocols and utilize proper safety equipment at all times.
  • Perform additional duties in the field as assigned.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid CDL with a clean driving record (MVR required).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships with builders, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills to track and manage information related to the ordering and production processes.
  • Proficient in the use of internet-based tools, project management software, spreadsheets, word processing, and order processing systems.
