Position Summary:

In our team-oriented environment, this individual will work with other warehouse associates and management to ensure company policy, procedures, and safety standards are maintained, enforced, and revised if necessary. This position will directly report to our Warehouse Lead to coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries and to ensure that all products are shipped and received in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse duties include but are not limited to:

Ensure shipments to and from all facilities are of accurate counts and not damaged.

• Operate a hand truck and forklift
• Load and unload boxes and bags in trailers
• Ensure all Safety policies/procedures are practiced
• Comply and enforce FIFO/Quality Control practice

Office Duties

• Ability to move product into proper storage locations
• Create production/finished goods labels and barcodes
• Must be proficient in computer skills
• Complete the Receiving process via hardcopy and in the local database

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with others
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally in environments including production and warehouse.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong planning ability with excellent organizational skills
• Ability and willingness to work outside of normal hours including evening and weekends
• Solution orientated
• Above average oral and written communication skills

Physical Demands:

• Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds each
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and/or with visual cues.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
• Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
• Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
