SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Tadano Business Systems, NA is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance inventory management, operational efficiency, production flow, and the sustainable development of manufacturing facilities. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in optimizing business systems and aligning operations with the company's long-term goals and values. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Tadano Business Systems, NA will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and environmentally responsible operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the future of the company by optimizing operations, ensuring sustainability, and driving operational excellence.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Inventory Management:

·       Develop and implement advanced inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and reduce carrying costs.

·       Leverage technology and analytics to track inventory performance and improve demand forecasting.

·       Partner with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and maintain optimal stock availability.


Operational Efficiency:

·       Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and processes across departments to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

·       Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance productivity.

·       Introduce automation and innovative technologies to streamline operations.


Production Flow:

·       Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to develop efficient production workflows that support high-quality output.

·       Oversee the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to improve production timelines and reduce waste.

·       Optimize equipment utilization, workforce allocation, and resource planning to meet production demands effectively.


Sustainable Facility Development:

·       Lead initiatives to design and implement environmentally sustainable manufacturing facilities.

·       Identify and execute opportunities to reduce energy consumption, carbon footprint, and waste generation.

·       Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.


Leadership and Collaboration:

·       Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Business Systems team, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.

·       Collaborate with senior leaders to align business systems with organizational objectives.

·       Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


Strategic Planning:

·       Contribute to the organization’s strategic planning by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities in business systems and manufacturing.

·       Align business system strategies with company growth plans, market demands, and customer expectations.

·       Prepare and manage budgets for business systems initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business systems, inventory management, or operations leadership roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar efficiency methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable manufacturing practices and environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, analytics tools, and inventory management software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·       Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·       Prolonged periods of standing/climbing/walking to monitor process or procedure

·       Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

·       Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
