The Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Sr. Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join Planview’s Customer Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies that increase customer engagement, product adoption and retention. You will leverage data-driven insights to create targeted campaigns that effectively nurture and inform our customer base throughout the entire customer lifecycle.


What You'll Do


  • Strategy Development: Design and implement customer lifecycle marketing strategies that align with overall business goals to drive customer engagement, product adoption, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and campaign performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Retention Marketers to ensure a personalized approach to customer engagement.
  • Cross-Functional: Liaison with other departments across the organization such as Customer Support, Professional Services, Sales, Renewals. As well as other areas of Planview’s Marketing department such as Product Marketing, to build and manage a comprehensive approach to customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Content Evaluation: Review messaging and content from the Retention Marketing team and provide feedback and guidance to ensure brand continuity, audience relevancy and accuracy of our customer communications.
  • Customer Journey Mapping: Develop and maintain customer journey maps to identify touchpoints and optimize the customer experience at each stage of the lifecycle.
  • Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize campaigns and improve key performance indicators.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.


What You'll Bring


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer lifecycle marketing or similar field
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven marketing strategies and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Gainsight, Pendo, PowerBI)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven track record of successful campaign management and optimization.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and segmentation strategies.
  • Creative thinker with a strong understanding of customer needs and behavior.
