Support the Sourcing team in optimizing procurement processes and maintaining a robust supply chain that meets the company’s quality standards. Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and relationship management, ensuring sourcing strategies align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Support the Sourcing team in optimizing procurement processes and maintaining a robust supply chain that meets the company’s quality standards. Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and relationship management, ensuring sourcing strategies align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Essential Functions
- Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with organizational objectives
- Analyze purchasing data and market trends to assist in strategic decision-making and recommend cost-effective sourcing options
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and market insights, enabling data-driven decision-making
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, and logistics to ensure that sourcing decisions are informed by accurate data
- Investigate issues, find root cause, and develop solutions
- Assist with other supply chain analysis and initiatives as required
- Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in a business or supply chain related discipline and/or 3 equivalent years of experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel; experience with ERP Systems, SAP preferred
- Familiarity with supplier management and negotiation processes
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as suppliers, customers, and their representatives
- Ability to work cross-functionally, convey complex issues, and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
