Senior Manager Finance Accounting

Who We Are:

GHI Staffing Solutions is representing a fast growing company specializing in physician recruiting and staffing. This newly created senior-level position will oversee all day-to-day finance and accounting functions, drive process improvements and automation, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the company’s financial growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily accounting functions, including AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.
• Develop and document financial controls, procedures, and automation improvements.
• Create and manage budgets, forecasts (financial and cash flow), and related analyses.
• Collaborate with business leaders and executive teams on financial planning and evaluations.
• Manage relationships with external CPA firms, lenders, and outsourced finance partners.
• Support leadership with technology adoption, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
• Over time, assist with compliance and administrative functions.

Success Metrics

• Timely and accurate financial reporting, including KPIs.
• Continuous automation and improvement of accounting processes.
• Effective management and evolution of budgeting and forecasting practices.

Qualifications Required:

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience (including public accounting).
• Strong knowledge of accounting software platforms and financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Expertise in payroll, budgeting, AR/AP, and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on management style and ability to lead a small team.
• Strong communication skills and personal integrity.

Preferred:

• CPA or CA certification.
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, or professional services industries.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Passion for leveraging technology to improve processes.
