About the Position:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with a strong background in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in software engineering, expertise in ETL processes, and experience working with diverse data sources such as Euromonitor, Statista, Covariance, Numerator, SEMRush, SimilarWeb, and Measured. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a passion for learning, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to integrate and process data from multiple sources.
• Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to automate data ingestion and transformation.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across different systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Utilize Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Optimize SQL queries for efficient data transformation and retrieval.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in Python development.
• Expertise in building scalable ETL pipelines and automating data ingestion processes.
• Proficiency in data wrangling, normalization, and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboard development and data integration.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data.
• Experience working with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow).
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Exposure to machine learning pipelines and advanced analytics.
