Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, identify variances, and provide insightful analysis and recommendations.
• Oversee the Fixed Asset process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations, and implementing audit recommendations.
• Continuously evaluate existing accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements.
• Develop and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance financial reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• CPA would be viewed as a plus
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial accounting standards.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
