Sales Development Specialist
Position Overview:
At weavix, the key to our growth is a high-performing sales team. We are seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and engage potential customers who can benefit from our solutions. As the first point of contact with prospects, the ideal SDR will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, initiating new relationships, and setting up the sales team for success. We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented "hunter" who can quickly communicate the value of weavix’s offerings. This role will play a critical part in growing revenue, acquiring new customers, and increasing profitability.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a driven and strategic individual focused on building a robust sales pipeline within the North American market. Day-to-day responsibilities will include cold-calling prospects, educating the market about the power of weavix, and generating opportunities with new and existing customers. The SDR will become proficient in using lead generation tools to build accurate and targeted prospect lists.

Objectives of This Role:
- Represent weavix’s products and services, leveraging deep product knowledge and consumer research to demonstrate how our solutions meet customer needs.
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.
- Contribute to refining the lead-generation playbook to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Salesforce, Salesloft, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Understand the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
- Build trusting relationships with prospects to qualify them as sales opportunities.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities in the market.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sales executives.
- Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills via phone and email.
- Proven problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- A strong desire and the ability to advance within the sales organization.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least two years of relevant work experience.
- Experience as a Sales Development Representative with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, and Gong.
