McKenney's, Inc. is seeking Project Engineers to join our Logistics & Manufacturing team in Atlanta, Georgia. This exciting role of Project Engineer is a 9-12-month entry-level position designed to expose the employee to McKenney’s processes, capabilities, and scope of work before moving into a role in the Logistics & Manufacturing departme

POSITION SUM

MARYAs a Project Engineer, you will be placed into a 12-month rotational program where you will support various departments involved in the life cycle of a construction project. During these rotations, you will participate in McKenney’s preconstruction, design, virtual construction, fabrication, project management, and installation phases of a project, as well as the technology processes involved. Throughout this program, you will not only gain hands-on project experience but also learn how each of these groups interact with the Logistics & Manufacturing Department. By the conclusion of the program, Project Engineers will have gained exposure to our business, developed strong leadership skills, established impactful relationships, and expanded their knowledge and understanding of the construction indus


try.
Learning objectives in this role include, but are not limited to, the detailing of mechanical systems (ductwork, mechanical piping, and plumbing); coordinating McKenney’s work with customers and other trades throug

BIM process; estimating projects; interacting with our suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors; and working in the field as part of an installation crew. In addition to this training, we expect the Project Engineer to develop strong relationships with project managers, foreman, virtual construction team members, field operations, engineers, suppliers, and other trade sub-contractors through consistent interaction and communic


ation.
Throughout their rotations, the Project Engineer will work with their sponsor in Logistics and Manufacturing to identify logistics, supply chain operations, manufacturing, technology, and project management career opportunities after finishing the program. These opportunities will be based on candidate interest and business need, and include, but are not limited to, roles involving expanding purchasing support to all business units or providing project management support of manufacturing oper


ations.

ICATIONS· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, building construction, or supply chain management, or minimum 5+ years experience working with plumbing, piping, or HVAC systems in an office or t
