THE OPPORTUNITY

Primient is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Intern to join our Lafayette, IN team to assist in preventative and corrective plant maintenance. Plan to also support planning and scheduling of tasks, collect and analyze data, and maintain records and documentation.

Key responsibilities: Maintenance Engineering Intern

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support the planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks.
• Collect and analyze maintenance data.
• Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Develop and execute small modification maintenance projects.
  
  

About You

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Additional Information

What We Offer:

This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our Maintenance operations within a dynamic plant environment. You will develop practical skills in planned maintenance, analysis, and program implementation while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.

Must possess valid work authorization for the US. We are not offering sponsorship for this role.

ITEMS TO NOTE

This is a 40 hour per week/Full Time role.

This role is On-site - 5 days a week at the Lafayette, IN plant.

There is no guarantee of full-time placement at the conclusion of this internship.

This role comes with a $22.00/hr rate with a $3000 Housing/Travel stipend.
