Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Work on team with two to three other strategists, with responsibility for key areas of client engagements.
• Be responsible for synthesizing information from a range of sources to build a strong understanding of the client challenge, industry context, and areas of strategic opportunity.
• Participate in client interviews, support all phases of qualitative and quantitative research, and build critical thinking, writing, and market research skills.
• Support the creation of key client deliverables –from message development to our final Language Strategy recommendations
• Gradually take on an increasing role with the development of client deliverables and ensuring project related questions are answered during course of engagement
• Participate in strategic or pro-bono organizational initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• 2-4 years’ experience in corporate strategy, communication, public affairs, market research, advertising, marketing, or another field that you can convince us is relevant.
• An ability to juggle and prioritize simultaneous projects and responsibilities...while on the road (and nowadays... virtually).
• Strong analytic skills so that you can understand and synthesize perspectives that may be very different from your own.
• Strong writing and presentation skills (bonus points for cover letters that demonstrate these skills)

• Agency experience
• Proven history of client engagement with demonstrated examples of project-based work
• Proactive & anticipatory in nature

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of maslansky + partners in New York City. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,500 – $75,000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

The position includes all the standards like competitive compensation, health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, bonuses, 401k plans. Oh...and free lunch on Mondays!
