About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative who is eager to develop their career in sales. In this remote role, you will be responsible for both new business development and optimizing existing accounts. You will manage inbound and outbound sales activities, identify new opportunities, and cultivate long-term relationships with customers.
You will collaborate closely with our procurement, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment. We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of inside sales experience, regardless of industry. While not required, experience in semiconductor or computer components distribution, manufacturing services, or electronics sales is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Account Growth & Business Development
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, actively identifying opportunities to expand their business.
- Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs and recommending tailored solutions.
- Work proactively to grow existing accounts while also focusing on securing new business.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by responding to inquiries, handling quotes, and following up on orders.
Sales Execution & Strategy
- Manage both inbound leads and outbound prospecting efforts to drive revenue growth.
- Leverage CRM tools to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and optimize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with procurement to confirm supply availability, finalize pricing, and coordinate lead times.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales performance goals, including monthly gross profit targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing customers with valuable insights on product offerings, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay proactive in engaging clients with relevant updates and solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with customer service, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth order processing and problem resolution.
Who We’re Looking For
Sales & Industry Expertise
- 3+ years of inside sales experience (We prioritize exceptional sales talent with a proven track record of success, regardless of the specific industry).
- Preferred: Sales experience in semiconductor or computer components distribution, manufacturing services, or electronics sales.
- Ability to drive new business and optimize existing accounts, demonstrating consultative selling skills.
Sales & CRM Proficiency
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with CRM tools to track customer interactions and manage sales pipelines.
- Strong ability to manage KPIs related to quotes, conversion rates, and gross profit.
Communication & Collaboration
- Advanced-level English proficiency (verbal and written) to effectively interact with U.S.-based clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building trust, negotiating deals, and fostering long-term relationships.
Education & Work Style
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Remote role requiring self-motivation, discipline, and a proactive approach.
- Team-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
- This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
- You must be comfortable working heavily over the phone to close deals.
