Inside Sales Representative

Your Role:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be the primary contact between Brighton Tru-Edge and our customers. Reporting to the Director of Sales, your daily tasks will involve providing estimates on our products and services, maintaining strong customer relationships, and addressing any service issues. Your role is crucial in driving our sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service.
- Sales and Profit Goals: Meet and exceed sales and profit goals for your assigned accounts.
- Quotation Management: Provide timely and accurate quotes, meeting volume targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Order Processing: Process sales orders in our ERP system and coordinate requirements with shop office personnel.
- Customer Service Excellence: Address customer service issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Follow-Up and Feedback: Regularly follow up with customers and provide feedback to the management team to continuously improve our service.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sales Expertise: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals and build lasting relationships.
- Product Knowledge: Thorough understanding of our products and services, with the ability to explain and promote them effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service and resolve issues effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Industry Experience: Experience in construction and/or manufacturing, particularly in estimating, is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Desk Work: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Light Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to visit key customers at least once a quarter.
